A Quick Update!

Hello all! Sorry for the late update and no pictures. There will be some pictures soon to come! Well, just a quick note, our Christmas was great! We spent it in Phoenix with my family. Some of our traditions had to be modified in accordance with the little kiddies, but it was great gathering with the family. Jared was able to go on a ride-along with my brother in-law and experience a day with a Scottsdale Police officer. He had a great time! Unfortunately we had to come home on Christmas day due to work. But then we had the next week to look forward to because we had the whole week off. It was so nice to relax and take some time away from work and the everyday stress. We spent New Year's Eve with a bunch of Jared's friends. They played a game of basketball, ahh, the good old times. Jared woke up a little sore the next morning. But, it was really fun to see everyone!

We spent the rest of the week in Tucson with Jared's family. We saw a lot of fun movies, thanks to AMC giftcards, our Christmas gifts from Jared's mom. We saw National Treasure: The book of secrets (the first one was better), Waterhorse (Jared's nephew's choice for his birthday, but it was surprisingly good), Live Free/Die Hard (pretty good action flick) and Juno (we thought it was funny). It was great to see everyone in Tucson. Then Saturday we made the trek back up to Flagstaff, where rain and sleet welcomed us home. The break was so nice! We didn't want to come back.

I'm sorry we weren't able to get Christmas cards out to everyone. Christmas came just all of the sudden. I hope I can get them out this year. Well, we are doing well, trying to survive the snow. We had a great Christmas and a fun New Year. We are so grateful to have such wonderful friends. We are also grateful for our families and the love and support they give us. We hope everyone's holidays were fun-filled and safe! It was great seeing our families and all or our good friends. Hope to see everyone again soon! Take care and be safe!
